Which course should I choose?

We conduct level placements for anyone who is interested in taking a class – this allows us to assess your level of knowledge and recommend a suitable course. Level placements are available every Monday & Thursday from 2 p.m.– 5 p.m. (no appointments required). Please simply register at the information desk on the ground floor. Level placement, consultation and registration are always free of charge. We are also happy to help you with course registration and filling in the required forms.

How do I register for a course?

Every Monday & Thursday from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., we are happy to help you register for a course that’s suitable for you – registration is free of charge. Alternatively, you can register by sending an email to info@henke-schulungen.de.

How much do the courses cost?

Our Pricing page provides a first overview. At an initial consultation, we are happy to help you determine whether you are eligible for subsidised or free tuition.

How do I register for a course if I’m unable to come in for a consultation?

If you are unable to come in for a consultation, you can also register for your desired course at any time by e-mailing info@henke-schulungen.de.

Is it possible to attend a German course if I have a job?

We offer evening courses for those who can’t attend German classes during the day. Our evening classes run 3x per week (see German Evening Course A1 – B1 or German Evening Course B2 – C1). We are happy to work out individual solutions for shift workers.

How do I get to henke schulungen by public transport?

To reach henke schulungen by public transport

By light rail / underground (U-Bahn):
U2, U4, U9, U14 to Stadtmitte (Rotebühlplatz) station
or by S-Bahn to Stadtmitte station

When are the courses held?

Our course overview provides an overview of all our German courses. Course times can be found on the respective detail pages: German and Literacy, German Basic and Foundation level (A1 – B1) with Orientation Course, German Intermediate Level B2 – C1 & professional courses.

Which textbooks do I need for my German course?

You will find a summary of the required textbooks on the respective detail pages: textbooks for German Basic and Foundation Level (A1 – B1) with Orientation Course and textbooks for German Intermediate Level B2 – C1 & professional courses.

Textbooks are also sold at henke schulungen at recommended retail prices.

What training do your teachers have?

All our teachers here at henke schulungen are approved and certified by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees. They have extensive experience teaching language courses.

Do you have Wi-Fi or are computers available in the building?

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the school building. A computer room is also available to all students.

Is there anywhere to eat in the area?

There are many places to buy food here in the city centre of Stuttgart. We recommend the affordable lunch menu at Jugendhaus Mitte (close to henke schulungen).

Free level placement, consultation and registration

During these hours, you also have the opportunity to apply to the Federal Office for subsidised or free course participation.
Level placement, consultation and registration take place at our premises at Fritz-Elsas-Straße 38 in Stuttgart.
